Since 2004, Shaukat & Raza has laid thirty-one high-pressure pipelines on a construct, testing and commissioning basis in Algeria. The terrain has been diverse, in the desert, and in hard rock hills and plains.
Three high-pressure pipelines in Nigeria have been constructed on an EPC basis through swamps and through densely populated cities. Two high-pressure pipelines have also been laid in Ghana. Metering, pressure reduction and intermediate stations of various sizes have been constructed, from 1 MMCFD up to 100 MMCFD, on both an EPC and a construct-only basis. Shaukat & Raza has constructed three compressor stations for boosting falling gas pressures. One of them, the Sui gas field compression project, was the largest compressor station in the world at the time of completion.
